Nissan Motor India Private Ltd has announced the starting of the booking orders for its diesel variant of Nissan Micra at its twenty dealerships. This Nissan Micra variant, which is diesel powered, is likely to go on sale just before 25th Dec, 2010, that is prior to the occasion of Christmas. In a phased manner which begins on November 8, the dealerships of Nissan all more than the country have started taking the booking orders for the diesel variant of Nissan Micra. The company has also launched a multimedia ad campaign (such as television, radio, print and digital media) for this activity. Mr. Kiminobu Tokuyama, MD & CEO, Nissan Motor India commented that in the domestic industry, the success of Nissan Micra petrol variant has provided a lot of confidence to the firm.
